In the last few decades God has commissioned many waves of pioneers around the earth to forge new paths, develop new language, birth new movements, and lead the way in new concepts and ideas. But the pioneer road is far from the glorified road it is painted to be but is more often the journey of breaking hard and difficult ground, fighting principalities, experiencing endless disappointments, and walking through many dark seasons of the soul. The reality is, I see far few make it to the other side, and even in my own journey I have seen many off-ramps and opportunities to leave it behind and do something far less costly for God. But pioneers we need you to finish your race!
Letters to the pioneers was a book that literally fell in my lap during a powerful encounter with God during a very painful moment of my life. On a long flight suddenly the voice of the Father said “pick your pen and write what I give you!”
After half an hour He had given me the outline for this book and two letters from His heart to mine. The words went down deep into places I didn’t know I needed his touch. Like a healing balm to a weary travelers soul I was being ministered to and strengthened to forge on, and I’m hoping you experience the same as you read these letters from the father.
